Students must demonstrate music reading proficiency in order to begin the Performer's Certificate. Students who do not meet this requirement may first enroll in MUSC 150. In consultation with faculty, students must declare a primary instrument (to be selected from keyboard, instrumental, or vocal categories) and focus (classical, jazz, etc.).
