An accounting major may repeat no more than two accounting courses without permission from the Accounting Department.

An accounting major may take a maximum of 3 ACCOUNT courses in a single semester and no more than 9 units of ACCOUNT total. If a student is taking ACCOUNT 493 as their only accounting course in a semester, that course may be taken for up to 12 units.

Minimum 2.50 GPA in the major required for graduation. Maximum of 2 transfer courses and 3 units of independent study (498) allowed.

A maximum of 12 graduate level credits can be used towards the major. Business and Economics graduate level courses are only offered online and are charged at the CoBE online graduate rate. See the Seniors Taking Graduate Courses Policy for further information.

Students cannot double count the same course initially offered as a special studies course.
