INT 233   HISTORY SCIENCE AND ETHICS OF THE ATOMIC BOMB   3 Units

The atomic bomb is one of the most important artifacts of the twentieth century, and as such it deserves study. But how should that study be conducted? Different disciplines ask different questions and make different assumptions. This course will introduce you to both the atomic bomb (how it was built, how it was used and how Americans have adjusted to its presence in the world) and also the disciplines of history, science and ethics (how they go about investigating their subjects, how they are similar and how they differ).

INT 290   SPECIAL TOPICS IN INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES   Repeatable   1-5 Units

Interdisciplinary courses designed to help students learn to integrate knowledge from across the curriculum. Includes investigation of the multiple dimensions of the given subject by applying the content, methods & assumptions of two or more disciplines as presented by instructors from those disciplines.
