All Students: Must have a content area GPA of at least 3.0 across all CIGENRL, Chicanx/Latinx or RACEETH Studies courses taken within this licensure program.
ESL License Only: Must demonstrate experience learning a language other than English. A variety of options to meet this requirement exist.
Bilingual-Bicultural and ESL Licenses: Must show language proficiency of at least 'advanced low' across four language modalities (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) on an ACTFL-aligned language proficiency assessment (i.e. OPI[c] and WPT).
Those pursuing the bilingual-bicultural in Spanish must take a 3 credit course in Chicanx/Latinx Studies (a course with the CHICANO or LATINX prefix) OR in Race and Ethnic Studies (a course with the RACEETH prefix).
