Medical Sciences - Radiologic Technology Emphasis Requirements (BS)
Students in this program will earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Sciences with an emphasis in Radiologic Technology. In the first two years of the program, students will complete program admission prerequisites and degree requirements to earn the Associate of Arts and Science degree at the College of Integrated Studies (60 credits). Upon admission to the clinical program, the next four semesters of study will be completed on site at a partner hospital with a study program accredited by the Joint Review Commission on Radiologic Technology (66 credits). Upon successful completion of the Radiologic Technology program, graduates are eligible to apply for admission to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam.
Students are required to have an overall GPA of 2.5 on a 4-point scale for all pre-clinical coursework to be admitted to the radiography concentration. In addition, a minimum of “C” grades must be earned in each prerequisite course which includes all courses listed below.
