It is recommended that all courses be completed with a C or better. Dental schools may have higher grade requirements and may also have a cumulative GPA requirement. There is no grade or GPA requirement to earn this certificate.

This certificate does not encompass all possible pre-requisite courses for admission to dental school. Students are encouraged to proactively identify required prerequisite courses for admission to the schools where they intend to apply. Dental schools also require applicants to take the Dental Admissions Test (DAT).
