It is recommended that all courses be completed with a C or better. Pharmacy schools may have higher grade requirements and may also have a cumulative GPA requirement. There is no grade or GPA requirement to earn this certificate.

This certificate does not encompass all possible pre-requisite courses for admission to pharmacy school. Students are encouraged to proactively identify required prerequisite courses for admission to the schools where they intend to apply. Additionally, most pharmacy programs require a standardized admission test such as the PCAT.

Completion of this certificate does not guarantee admission to pharmacy school. Each pharmacy school makes its own admissions decisions based upon its own requirements.

Some pharmacy schools do not require an undergraduate degree. In these cases, students are encouraged to identify required prerequisite general education courses for admission to the schools where they intend to apply; ENGLISH 102, COMM 110, for example.
