It is recommended that all courses be completed with a C or better. Physician assistant schools may have higher grade requirements and may also have a cumulative GPA requirement. There is no grade or GPA requirement to earn this certificate.

This certificate does not encompass all possible pre-requisite courses for admission to physician assistant (PA) school. Students are encouraged to proactively identify required prerequisite courses for admission to the schools where they intend to apply. Additionally, most physician assistant programs require a standardized admission test such as the GRE.

Completion of this certificate does not guarantee admission to physician assistant school. Each physician assistant school makes its own admissions decisions based upon its own requirements.
