Students may earn up to up to six internship units through the GHJ International Summer Camp or other Japan-focused internships in consultation with the Japanese Studies Coordinator.

Original research thesis must be written in Japanese.

UW OSHKOSH courses on Japanese Language, History, and Culture may also be used towards elective requirements as part of the Japanese Studies Collaborative Program in consultation with the Program Coordinator.

Up to six units of Japanese language courses beyond JAPANESE 203 from study abroad programs may be used towards electives
