Certificate Requirements for Admission
Admission requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Applied Bioinformatics program will include a Bachelor’s degree and a 3.0 undergraduate GPA. Program prerequisite will include General Biology with lab. A reason for minimal biology prerequisites is to be able to accept students from a variety of backgrounds with a basic understanding of biology. The final decision for admission or provisional admission lies with the academic director who will work to make sure a student accepted to the program has the preparation necessary to succeed.
