It is recommended that all courses be completed with a C or better. Medical schools may require a B or better and may also have a cumulative GPA requirement. There is no grade or GPA requirement to earn this certificate.

This certificate does not encompass all possible pre-requisite courses for admission to medical (MD) school. Students are encouraged to proactively identify required prerequisite courses for admission to the schools where they intend to apply. Additionally, most medical schools require a standardized admission test such as the MCAT.
