It is recommended that all courses be completed with a C or better. Physical Therapy schools may have higher grade requirements and may also have a cumulative GPA requirement. There is no grade or GPA requirement to earn this certificate.

This certificate does not encompass all possible pre-requisite courses for admission to physical therapy (PT) professional schools. Students are encouraged to proactively identify required prerequisite courses for admission to the schools where they intend to apply. Additionally, most physical therapy programs require a standardized admission test such as the GRE.

Completion of this certificate does not guarantee admission to physical therapy school. Each physical therapy school makes its own admission decisions based upon its requirements.
