CIFLD 646 Clinical Experiences for Add-on Licenses Repeatable 1-6 Units
This course provides students who already hold a Wisconsin teaching license in another licensure area with the opportunity to fully develop, practice, and reflect upon skills acquired through coursework in a supervised field experience in the area of the add-on licensure they are pursuing. Students create a portfolio demonstrating mastery of program competencies. Students repeat this course as needed to completely fulfill the fieldwork requirement for their licensure.
CIFLD 726 PRE-STUDENT TEACHING, ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE LEVELS 1 Units
Being involved in elementary and middle level classrooms enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will be placed in a clinical experience at the elementary level and a clinical experience at the middle level. Reading instruction will be a focus within the pre-student teaching experiences for candidates seeking initial licensure. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge to classroom realities.

CIFLD 727 STUDENT TEACHING, ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE LEVELS 4 Units
Being involved in an elementary or middle level classroom enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will be placed in a clinical experience at the elementary or middle level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge of theory to classroom realities. This experience will assist students in showing evidence toward completing the Wisconsin Teacher Standards (WTS).

CIFLD 745 CLINICAL EXPERIENCES FOR INSTRUCTIONAL LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALISTS Repeatable 1-6 Units

CIFLD 761 CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS ED PROGRAM MIDDLE OR SECONDARY 1 Units
Being involved in a middle school or secondary classroom enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experiences, students will complete a field experience at the middle school level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge of theory to the classroom.
CIFLD 762 CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMS HIGH SCHOOL 6 Units
Being involved in a secondary school classroom enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experiences, students will be placed in clinical experiences at the secondary level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge of theory to classroom realities.
CIFLD 770 WARHAWKS TEACH: PRE-STUDENT TEACHING 3 Units
This course provides teacher candidates the opportunity to develop teaching experience in classroom settings across a variety of school settings and the grade band of their license. This allows teacher candidates to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will complete pre-student teaching experiences that are developmental in scope and sequence and that provide student teachers the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Wisconsin Teacher Standards.
CIFLD 771 WARHAWKS TEACH: STUDENT TEACHING 6 Units
Students gradually take up responsibilities for all teaching duties associated with their placement, including the planning of lessons, curriculum building, grading, co-teaching, and working with special education and administrative personnel in the district, while establishing and maintaining positive relationships with school families, parents and the community. The student teacher engages in continuous self-evaluation and is assisted in the process by frequent informal conferences with the mentor teacher. Periodic formal evaluation sessions where the student teacher and the cooperating teacher utilize university-provided observation forms are planned.
PREREQ: CIFLD 770 AND INSTRUCTOR CONSENT
CIFLD 793 PRACTICUM Repeatable 1-8 Units
Professional laboratory experience is provided under the guidance of carefully selected qualified cooperating teachers in elementary, middle, and secondary school classrooms. Repeatable for a maximum of 8 credits for majors.
